FAQs
How does it work?
01.
Start by getting in touch through the contact form.
We'll chat about what you need, your deadline and what you're hoping to achieve. From there, I'll recommend the best approach and provide a clear quote before any work begins.
Will it sound like me?
02.
Yes. That's the whole point.
I don't write in my voice. I write in yours.
Your words should sound like you, not a copywriter, and not robotic, one-size-fits-all language.
I'll keep your personality, your tone and the way you naturally communicate, while making the words clearer, sharper and easier to read.
That feels very Better Said to me. It also gives you a nice point of difference: you're not just promising "good copy"; you're promising copy that still sounds human and still sounds like the client..
What if I don't know exactly what I need?
03.
That's okay.
You don't need to arrive with a perfect brief. If you know something isn't working but aren't quite sure how to fix it, we can work that out together.
Can you work from rough notes?
04.
Absolutely.
Whether you have pages of notes, a half-finished draft or just a few dot points, I can turn what's in your head into something clear and polished.
Yes.
Every project includes one round of revisions, giving you the opportunity to provide feedback and make sure the final copy feels right.
05.
Do you offer revisions?
Every project is different.
Once I understand what you're after, I'll provide a personalised quote before any work begins. No surprises, no guessing.
06.
How much does it cost?
How does payment work?
07.
A 50% deposit is required to get started, with the remaining balance due on completion.
For smaller projects, payment terms may vary and will always be outlined in your quote.
It depends on the project, but I'll always agree on a timeframe with you upfront.
If you have a deadline, let me know. I'll work with it wherever possible.
08.
How long does it take?
Is my information confidential?
09.
Absolutely.
Anything you share with Better Said is treated as confidential and handled with care.
Do I need to have a business?
10.
Not necessarily.
Better Said works with businesses, professionals and anyone who needs help getting their words right.
What if I just have one thing that needs fixing?
11.
That's fine too.
Not everything needs to be a big project. If you've got an email, paragraph, bio or piece of copy that's just not quite working, get in touch and we'll see what makes sense.
